Meaning Making Machine #1

In the first of these experiments I did not use images at all, only sets of words: one set of subjects and one set of predicates. I tried to gather a cross sample of subjects, from words with simple meanings to words that are highly loaded with cultural meaning. For the predicates I choose declarative statements that are written as definitions or facts. Each element can be randomly paired with an element from the other set and a new meaning can be perceived and constructed. As one definition is presented to the viewer, another definition then usurps its meaning.
